WPF 2009

The Taste of Life Crew!!

WPF 2009 - Rudolph (Rudi) Van Veen, and Robert van Beckhoven

Both of these chefs are exciting to be in a room with. They exude such a high energy level eventhough they seem to be opposites.
Their Taste of Life was a wonderful class that encouraged you to explore the possibilities..

Sometimes you just have to take a breather.

WPF 2009 has come and gone. We had a really nice group that attended. My chef, Chef Mary Sidor almost everyone from the Baking 2 class (Kim, Norma, Jay, Teresa and Vanessa) plus Fran and Lisa.
Teresa and Vanessa did the hands-on classes with Nicholas Lodge and Bronwen Weber but most of us did the demo classes which was 10 excellent instructors from all over the world. - Albert AdriĆ , Spain (Natura); Stephen Durfee, USA (Plated Desserts); Dimitri Fayard, USA (World Championship Desserts); Ciril Hitz, USA (Bread Basket); Laurent Le Daniel, MOF, France (Petits Gateaux and Tartlettes); Colette Peters, USA (Cake Decoration for Pastry Chefs); Vincent Pilon, and Anil Rohira, USA (Chocolate Showpieces); Alain Roby, USA (Creative Sugar Artistry for Production Kitchens); Biagio Settepani, and Robert Ellinger USA (Specialty baking: gluten free, sugar free and kosher baking); and Rudolph (Rudi) Van Veen, and Robert van Beckhoven, The Netherlands (The Taste of Life).
Lots of information and ideas. We'll see what I can translate to application with the American as Apple Pie picnic bakeoff entries.
